Augusta Mediation Services offers private mediation for Georgia workers’ compensation disputes, led by an attorney who has practiced in the field for twenty years. Whether a case needs a single focused session before a hearing or a final push toward settlement, the process is designed to give attorneys and claimants a clear, neutral path to resolution.

Mr. Hawkins has settled more than 1,500 workers’ compensation cases and trained as a mediator through Henning Mediation & Arbitration Service, Inc. He is completing his registration as a Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution Registered Neutral, bringing impartial, experienced facilitation to every session.

What the Service Includes

• Workers’ Compensation Focus: Mediation is limited to Georgia workers’ compensation matters, the area in which Mr. Hawkins has practiced exclusively.
• In-Person Mediation: In-person sessions are held in the Augusta-area office conference room for cases in Richmond and Columbia counties.
• Zoom Mediation: Video sessions are available to attorneys and claimants anywhere in the state of Georgia.
• Conference Room Hosting: The office conference room is available to host the parties for in-person mediation at no additional charge.
• Support for Pro Se Claimants: Unrepresented claimants without reliable internet may come to the office and participate by Zoom with assistance getting connected.

Flat Fee and Scheduling

Augusta Mediation Services charges a flat fee of $1,500 per mediation. Dates are never double-booked, so the parties who reserve a session receive Mr. Hawkins’s undivided attention for the full time the case requires — without the pressure of another mediation waiting in the next room.
